As the warmer months set upon us, so will the Farmers Markets at Independence Park! There you will see a couple of volunteers representing the Irving Park Food Pantry, who will be on hand to answer your questions, accept food and monetary donations, offer leads to local resources and information about how to obtain supplemental food assistance! Farmers Markets are always held on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Independence Park is located at Irving Park Road and Hamlin Avenue. The park is in walking distance from the Kennedy Expressway and the Irving Park station of the CTA Blue Line.
