School Supply Distribution Begins!

The first week of August begins our School Supply Distribution! Thank you to the congregation at Carter Westminster Presbyterian Church for their donations, as well as the families of the Magic Mushroom Summer Program, out of Irving Park Lutheran Church. Thank you to all of the individuals who also donated and to our volunteers Sandra Schwarzbeck and Mike Mette for shopping for supplies to help us get a good start!

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our food pantry through monetary and non-perishable food donations! We are always in need of other items like white crew socks, toiletries (razors, lotion, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, diapers and women’s hygiene products) as well as baby food, and other non-perishable, non-canned foods like dry rice mixes, dry pasta mixes, snack bars, energy bars, juice, jello, crackers, etc.

We will continue to be at our booth at the GIPNA Independence Park Farmers Markets. Come visit us! Future markets are Sundays on August 10th and 24th, September 14th & 28th and October 12th & 26th.
