Hunger Walk Re-Cap Thank you to everyone who showed up for the Greater Chicago Food Depository’s Annual Hunger Walk on Saturday, June 29th! The weather was mercifully cool, and tons of people walked to raise awareness of hunger in our communities. If you haven’t had a chance to make a donation, it’s not too late! You can make an online donation through our Welcome Page by clicking on the “donate” button on the right side of the page.

By the Way… The Illinois LINK Card (formerly the “food stamp” program) is accepted at GIPNA Farmers Markets as a form of payment for purchases! Other credit cards (except American Express) and debit cards are also accepted. The GIPNA Canopy will handle the purchases by plastic. So now everyone can access whole, locally grown, fresh food!
